1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text values stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They can support authentication, security, preferences and measurement.
2. Essential storage we use
- Session: keeps a signed-in account authenticated. The session cookie is protected from ordinary browser scripts.
- Workspace context: remembers which authorised workspace a user selected.
- Interface preferences: may remember settings needed to present the product consistently.
- Security: supports request integrity, abuse prevention and account protection.
3. Analytics and advertising
The current Mercestack application does not intentionally set advertising cookies. If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls should be updated before those technologies are enabled.
4. Managing cookies
You can remove or block cookies using browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in and may stop workspace features from functioning correctly.
5. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when browser technologies or service providers change. Questions can be sent to privacy@mercestack.com.
